# Le Petit Verger e liquid, a 50/50 fruit range meets sub-ohm

> Le Petit Verger e liquid from Savourea on a cloud setup, what its 50/50 ratio means in sub-ohm, the 70 ml shortfill and a high VG mix at home.

Two fruits per bottle, no cooling in the standard version and French manufacturing. **Le Petit Verger e liquid** from Savourea is aimed mainly at vapers who want clean fruit without added cooling.

On a sub-ohm tank set up for clouds, though, one question comes before all the others. The range is made at 50/50, a ratio designed for moderate hardware, a long way from the glycerine-heavy bases that feed dense vapour. What happens to this liquid on a high-airflow setup, and how can it be adapted?

## Le Petit Verger e liquid in sub-ohm, the straight answer

Le Petit Verger is a Savourea range of around twenty recipes, each pairing two fruits with no cooling effect, according to the manufacturer. A twin range, Le Petit Verger Frais, takes the same pairings and adds a cooling note. Every product found is 50/50, equal parts propylene glycol (PG) and vegetable glycerine (VG).

That ratio works in moderate sub-ohm, provided the power stays at the low end of the coil's range and the wicking is kept under watch. One retailer goes as far as saying these liquids are not recommended for sub-ohm hardware that needs a base heavily weighted towards VG.

For a true cloud setup, a ready-made **Le Petit Verger e liquid** is therefore not the ideal tool. The answer lies in the range's flavour concentrates, which let you choose a base richer in glycerine.

## A range built on two fruits

Savourea built the range on a simple idea, one pair of fruits per recipe. Formats and versions matter as much as the flavours when choosing for sub-ohm hardware.

### The standard version, without cooling

This is the heart of the range. Among the pairings the manufacturer lists in 50 ml are Blackcurrant Raspberry, Strawberry Pear, Kiwi Mango, Blackberry Blueberry, Peach Lychee, Watermelon Melon and Orange Passion Fruit. Two retailers state that the recipes contain no sucralose.

### The Frais version, for those who want a chill

The same pairings exist with a cooling effect, under the Le Petit Verger Frais name. On a tank with very open airflow, the moving air already makes the vapour less warm. The standard version therefore avoids stacking extra cooling on top of what the draw already brings.

### The shortfill and the concentrate

The manufacturer sells its e-liquids as 50 ml without nicotine, which three retailers sell in a 70 ml bottle. The range also comes as 30 ml flavour concentrates, covering part of the shortfill pairings plus a few recipes of their own.

## Why a 50/50 ratio changes everything in sub-ohm

Propylene glycol is thinner than glycerine. In a sub-ohm coil with large wicking ports, a 50/50 liquid soaks the cotton faster than a VG-heavy one, which makes flooding and leaks through the airflow more likely if the draw is too hard.

The vapour is also less dense, since glycerine is the main source of vapour volume. Propylene glycol, on the other hand, carries flavour well, a strength for a range built on recognisable fruit pairings.

In practice, a **Le Petit Verger e liquid** works best with a coil with medium wicking ports, power taken from the bottom of the range and airflow opened up gradually, as set out in our guide to [vape settings for clouds](/uk/wattage-airflow-vape-settings/).

## The 50 ml shortfill and what the free space does to the ratio

The Tobacco and Related Products Regulations 2016 limit nicotine e-liquid bottles to 10 ml and cap their strength at 20 mg/ml. The large format is therefore sold at 0 mg, in a 70 ml bottle that leaves 20 ml of free space.

Any nicotine strength is each vaper's own choice, and this guide does not recommend one. What matters to a cloud chaser is the ratio. Topping up the 50 ml with a 50/50 base leaves it unchanged. With 10 ml of 30/70 base, the mix moves to roughly 53 per cent glycerine (25 ml plus 7 ml in 60 ml), and to roughly 56 per cent with 20 ml (25 ml plus 14 ml in 70 ml).

The shift is small. The topped-up bottle still behaves like a 50/50 in the coil, and the power and airflow precautions above still apply, as our guide to [sub-ohm vaping and staying safe](/uk/sub-ohm-vaping-guide/) explains.

## Le Petit Verger e liquid as a home mix, heavier on VG

The concentrates keep the range's pairings while letting you choose the base. For a cloud chaser, this is the most logical route.

Savourea gives a dose of 15 per cent, counted here on the finished mix. A 30 ml bottle of concentrate therefore makes 200 ml of liquid. The concentrate is never vaped on its own, it is always diluted in a neutral base.

In concrete terms, a 100 ml mix brings together 15 ml of concentrate and 85 ml of base. For a 50 ml bottle, that becomes 7.5 ml of concentrate and 42.5 ml of base, easier to measure with a graduated bottle than by counting drops.

The base is then chosen to suit the hardware, 30/70 or full VG for a tank with large ports. The flavouring makes up 15 per cent of the mix, so its own make-up, shown on the label, affects the final ratio. Our guide to [full VG e-liquids](/uk/full-vg-e-liquid-guide/) helps match the base to the setup.

## Le Petit Verger formats by hardware

The table sums up what each format offers a vaper chasing dense vapour, based on the manufacturer's page and the retailers consulted.

| Format | Ratio | Nicotine | On a sub-ohm setup |
|---|---|---|---|
| 50 ml standard or Frais | 50/50 | 0 mg, 70 ml bottle | workable in moderate sub-ohm |
| 30 ml concentrate | base of your choice | depends on the base | suited, with a VG-rich base |

Our view is about the format. For a medium-sized sub-ohm tank run at the bottom of its range, the standard 50 ml at 50/50 works and shows off both fruits. For a setup built for clouds, the concentrate on a glycerine-rich base is the only truly coherent version.

## FAQ

These questions come up often about the range. The answers draw on the manufacturer's site and on retailers.

### Who makes Le Petit Verger?
The range is produced by Savourea, a French brand. The manufacturer and one retailer state that its liquids carry the Origine France Garantie label.

### Is Le Petit Verger available as a 10 ml nicotine liquid?
Yes. Two retailers list ready-to-vape 10 ml bottles with nicotine on part of the range, Blackberry Blueberry among them.

### How many recipes does the range include?
The manufacturer talks of around twenty recipes in the standard version, with the same pairings also offered as Frais.

### Do the recipes contain sucralose?
Two retailers say the recipes are made without sucralose, one of them extending that to the whole range, with no added colouring or sweetener.

### Can two concentrates from the range be mixed?
Nothing technically stops it, but the recommended 15 per cent applies to a single flavour. Mixing two concentrates means sharing that percentage between them so the base is not overloaded.

## Le Petit Verger e liquid, the right way to use it on a cloud setup

Fruity, easy to read and free of forced cooling in its standard version, Le Petit Verger remains a 50/50 liquid built for moderate hardware. In sub-ohm it calls for measured power and a close eye on the wicking.

For dense vapour, the concentrates and a glycerine-rich base are the better route. Adapted that way, **Le Petit Verger e liquid** earns its place on a cloud setup, and the other Cloud Nationz guides help tune the rest of the hardware.
